The price of petroleum products has gone up by Rs 60 a week.
According to private TV Geo News, Finance Minister Muftah Ismail yesterday announced an increase of Rs 30 in petrol and diesel prices. But a pump was also vandalized by the public.
In Islamabad too, a scuffle broke out between the people and staff at a petrol pump while profiteers in several areas closed the pumps before 12 noon due to which citizens could not get cheap petrol at the last minute.
It is to be noted that after the increase in the price of petroleum products of Muftah Ismail, the price of petrol has increased by Rs. 60 this week, after which the price of petrol has gone up to Rs. 209.86.
