The last three years have seen a decline in Pakistan's GDP

Over the past few years, Pakistan's GDP has been growing steadily, but in the financial year 19-20-2019, its volume declined.

According to the Global Economy Index, if GDP is measured in terms of the value of the dollar, it has declined over the past three years.

The volume of GDP in 2015-16 was Rs 30,508 billion which increased to Rs 31,914 billion in the financial year 2016-17 while the size of GDP in the financial year 2017-18 reached Rs 33,859.60 billion.

According to the data released by the Bureau of Statistics, the volume of GDP had reached Rs. 34916 billion in the financial year 2018-19 which was reduced to Rs. 34588.70 billion in the next financial year ie 20-2019.

In the financial year 21-2020, the volume of GDP reached 36572 billion 60 crores while the volume of GDP is expected to be 38755 billion rupees in the current financial year.

Economists say the Corona epidemic was the reason for the decline in GDP in 2019-20.

According to the Global Economy, Pakistan's GDP was 0 270.60 billion in 2015, up from 8 278.70 billion in 2016. 

Similarly, in 2017, the volume of Pakistan's GDP reached 304 billion dollars, while in 2018 it increased to 314 billion 600 million dollars, but in 2019 and 2020, it began to decline due to the US dollar against the Pakistani rupee. Value increases.

In 2019, the volume of GDP decreased by 35 35.50 billion to 9 279.10 billion and in the year 2020, it further decreased to 2 262.60 billion.

Similarly, from the year 2021, Pakistan's GDP has started increasing again and it has increased to 6 276 billion. The volume of domestic GDP is expected to be 2 282 billion in 2022.
