Imran Khan has directed primary members of Pakistan's parliament, the National Assembly, and the Senate to get ready for the general elections slated to take place on July 25th.

Discussion on heatmaps and polls' roadmap was discussed.

PTI Chief Imran Khan described extending the deadline for tax collection in Pakistan as an "act of cruelty" to the economy.

In the latest development in Imran Khan's chaotic career, it was confirmed Tuesday afternoon that PTI's members would begin early poll preparations, including door-to-door canvassing and community meetings.

Khan's retirement came during a consultative meeting with the divisional-level leadership of PTI's assembly members at his residence in Lahore. The dialogue focused on how to dissolve the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies, resignations, and other significant matters.

PTI will launch a nationwide campaign, the "Election Karao Mulk Bachao" campaign, on December 7th.

In the meeting, the former Pakistan General Secretary took PTI's assembly members in confidence about future changes that will occur. Tomorrow starts a new campaign for general elections.

The PTI chief said that extending the mandate for the incumbent government would be "cruel" to Pakistan's economy because it has "failed completely" in managing the country and its economic state.

The meeting was assembled by party members from Sheikhupura, Kasur, and Nankana Sahib. Prime Minister Imran Khan, Central Punjab's President Dr. Yasmeen Rashid, Asif Nakai, Sardar Talib Nakai, Brigadier (retd) Rahat Aman, and Khurram Ijaz Chattha were also in attendance.

As per sources, the assembly members present in the meeting with Prime Minister Khan assured him that they're against boycotting parliament and are open to working with him on elections. They asserted that early and transparent elections were the only solution for getting rid of the country's problems.

The Assembly president argues that the dissolution of the assemblies is a major development that should be executed in a way that's beneficial to the citizens.

Meanwhile, the first phase of PTI's nationwide campaign will take place in Lahore on December 7, 2018. To kickstart the movement all across Pakistan and to counter the violent call to halt PTI's activities, a rally will be held in Hammad Azhar's constituency.
